Ever wish that you could go build something for NASA
and shoot it off into space, but just don’t have the
funds to build something spacebound? The people at
Vision Videogames and NASA have created a game
that will allow many to fulfill that dream.

SpaceStationSim gives players the opportunity to
build and operate their very own International Space
Station (ISS). Players take the role of Chief
Administrator of NASA and manage astronaut
crewmembers as they live, work, and play aboard
their newly created ISS. Players must successfully run
their space station by guiding the astronauts through
missions and challenges including fires and
equipment malfunctions.

Dozens of pieces of equipment and components from
NASA and its four partners, the Canadian Space
Agency (CSA), European Space Agency (ESA),
Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and
the Russian Space Agency (RSA), can be used to
create a unique ISS. In addition to building the space
station, players must take care of the astronauts’
needs and relationships, each having distinct
personalities and abilities. Careful planning,
management, design and strategy will lead players to
a successful space station program, and guide
mankind to the next era of space exploration and
discovery.

Though after many hours this game gets to be fairly
easy, it is definitely one game that is out of this world.
